Pilates

What is pilates?

Pilates is a body-mind work-out method developed by Joseph H. Pilates in 1920s that focuses on strength and flexibility for the whole body.  This is attained through a series of controlled, rythmic movements performed on the mat as well as on uniquely designed equipment. 


Exercises are not just performed in terms of "number of repetitions".  Pilates uses fewer, more precise motions.  Every exercise has a goal, every detail will have a reason, the whole body and the mind will be jointly engaged in every exercise.


Linea Pilates teaches the classical method.  Its progressive and integrative approach will reshape and repattern your body and the way you use it.   By taking two to three pilates sessions weekly, your body will feel different, reinvigorated in a matter of weeks.
